AI creates a multi-million dollar memecoin

A YouTuber named Rhett Mankind thought it would be funny to use AI to make a memecoin - the results are shocking...

Starting with the concept and name, Rhett asked GPT-4 for suggestions. The chosen name was "TurboToad".

Rhett also consulted with GPT-4 to determine what to prompt in MidJourney to design a logo.

Next, Rhett requested that GPT-4 develop the tokenomics, write the whitepaper, and deploy the memecoin, as Rhett had no coding skills. However, GPT-4 suggested an audit, so Rhett enlisted the help of Solidity developers to review the super-basic contract.

Within a week, the $TURBO memecoin was launched from scratch with the assistance of AI.

But heres where things get weird, hilarious, sad and confusing all at once:

Since its release, the coin has done over $40M in trading volume in the past 24 hours, and it has a fully diluted market cap of $20M. Kinda makes you feel like a buffoon for working hard doesn't it 🥲.

ChatGPT has struck one of its first victims

Chegg, a website that provides homework assistance and tutoring, has been absolutely obliterated by ChatGPT.

After their earnings call on Monday, Chegg shares closed down 48.41% to $9.08 on Tuesday.

To tackle this, Chegg is developing its own AI product, CheggMate, to help students with their homework. The beta is set to launch this month.

The Kingz Take:

This is not the only company that will be heavily affected by emerging AI tools. So if you believe that you are the Michael Jordan of shorting stocks, I would get to the drawing board immediately.

YouTubers have a freakishly powerful influence on culture

Boxing has been a popular sport for centuries, but contrary to popular belief, the sport has become even more popular thanks to Logan and Jake Paul.

In 2020 and 2021, when the Paul brothers had boxing matches, people searched the term "boxing" more than 250 million times. This shows how much the Paul brothers have been able to capture the attention of people who may not have otherwise been interested in the sport.

So even though public opinion may continue to overlook YouTubers, we believe that they will drive the growth in the next generation of businesses.
